I had good reason (great reason, really) to visit Utah a few weekends ago. My best friend in the whole world (Kadee) is having herself a lil' beansprout! It's her first and I am so excited for her.
After High School she went and moved to California to live with her aunt and go to college. I saw her around Christmas time...7 years ago, when Kymora was 1! We still talk every week on the phone, but it's obviously been far too long since I've seen her. Her parents still live in Utah and so does some of her family so her mom and sisters threw her a baby shower. 
This is my other best friend from high school, Kristen. I saw her when I was still pregnant with Bo. Kadee, Kristen, and I were pretty much inseperable in High School. We were in the same ward, all lived in the same neighborhood, and our lockers were all in the same vicinity of each others. We went to dances, parties, out to eat, hung out on the weekends, went to Girls Camp, crocheted afghans together, had sleepovers, watched movies, went to the mall....we did everything together. I love these two.
Here's the three of us together. Look, we're still as cute as that day 12 years ago at our friend Jackie's Halloween party. Who knew a maid, Bumblebee (sorry excuse for a costume) and Alice in Wonderland could be so totally awesome?! Yah, I love us!
P.s. Kadee, I can't wait to meet your baby.
He will love me almost as much as you do!

You girls are so cute! None of you look your age. You're so lucky to have friends that you know you'll be friends with the rest of your life. Congratulations Kadee!
