You Be Trippin'

We visited our adopted grandma "Grandma Jean." She lived 2 houses down from us and she really became a grandma to us seeing as how we had no family near us when we lived in Oregon. She is still as sweet as we remember her!
Darnell was on a quest to find the "perfect" work shoes. Needless to say we stopped at 3 Ross stores, Kohl's, Men's Warehouse, and a Shoe Carnival. The kids were pleasantly entertained with games on the I-Pods. Awesome Aunt Crystal let them borrow hers and Darnell brought his along.

Waiting for the ceremony to start. Well, aren't I all nice and shiny...and squinty.
You know you're raising country bumpkins when:

#1-you reach Oregon they say, "Holy cow, look at all the cars on the road!"

#2-The highlight of the trip is riding the escalator up and down, up and down, over and over.... Devin, Crystal, and the ever so popular Baby Nola.
Bo had to show Uncle Devin his mad wrestling moves.

Look at Devin's offspring. She could not be any cuter!

Darnell's brother, Devin graduated from the same Chiro school as Darnell, so we drove to Pocatello, rented a teeny clown car (to avoid wear and tear on our own vehicles) and off we went like a dirty shirt. A little family road trip. At first the kids thought it was fun, kind of an adventure, and few hours in, and they were like, "UGH! This car is too small! I'm so squished!"
We had a lot of fun hanging out with the family. Our family, Darnell's parents, sister, other brother and sister-in-law all made the journey. My poor sister-in-law had 10 extra people in her house for a weekend. She was such a good sport about it.
