Clarification

I fear I have offended some. I feel the need to elaborate. The post entitled"Let's Hear it Ya'll" caused quite the uproar. I was not implying that if my spouse gained a lot of weight that it would be grounds for divorce. Darnell and I have discussed this. We feel if a weight gain large enough to affect the sexual attractiveness we feel towards our spouse occurred, although yes they are still a spectacular partner, it would be definitely cause a bit of a bump in the road. We would stick with them, we would still love them, but we both feel it is each others responsibility to still look good for one another. Hopefully everyone doesn't see us as being superficial and shallow (which I'm afraid of) because really, when you think about it, what drew you to become interested in your spouse in the first place?

Quoting what you said:
"but we both feel it is each others responsibility to still look good for one another."
