My mind is boggled. This is not a hard thing to do, but it has been boggled for one specific reason tonight. Here's the scoop:
We are running some errands in Idaho Falls tommorrow. To avoid fights, I am retrieving 2 containers for my 2 oldest kids, for snacks along the way. I search, dig, rummage through my lid drawer. I come up with nothing. I CANNOT find the matching lids! HONESTLY, where do lids go??!! Am I the only one with this conundrum? Lotsa bowls-no lids!
While you're at it maybe you can answer me another one. How do fridges get so grimey? I haven't left anything moldy in there. Nothing has been spilled. When and how do fridges start to become so filthy on their own? It baffles me...

I too am baffled by mismatched containers and filthy fridges. I actually have more lids than containers - explain that one!
Wait . . . maybe I have YOUR lids.
As for fridges, in all seriousness I think we must spill minute amounts of food every time we put in or take out anything. And it accumulates daily until there is grossness.
That's all I can think of, unless your babies are ravaging your fridge and messing it up when you're not looking.
No kidding! To solve my lid problem I actually put the lids on the containers before I put them away....and even then they still manage to get lost! Maybe we all have shelf and fridge elves to make our lives that much more frustrating than they already are!
The fridge thing I totally don't get either! My mom always loses lids to stuff too-it makes me crazy trying to find lids at her house!
My kids use lids as frisbees, ice skates, plates, shovels, you name it. When I die I am going to ask to see just how much of my stuff got "accidentally" put in the garbage, too. I'm positive 2 of my spoons have gone that way.
OH MY GOODNESSSS We are having the some week!!! I had the same pondering thoughts this week, where the heck are the lids and how in the world did a clean fridge with fresh food go bad!!! Who ever is stilling the lids is messing up our fridges!!! and trashing the rest of my house that I know I just got done cleaning!
Chad's mom had the same dilemma = you have too much tupperware (at least she did). Half of it was over 30 years old, so that's 30 years to lose lids. You moved, therefore, lids misplaced. I bought her a whole new set a couple Christmases ago and went through her drawers. I spent hours finding all the lids, etc. I placed it back nicely in her drawer on Christmas eve along with the new tupperware and put a bow on the drawer. She didn't say it, but I could tell she thought it was a lame gift. So, in conclusion, I am now upset.
