A few days before New Years Eve there was a Bi-Stake Dance in our area. I begged and pleaded with Darnell to have us be chaperones. Reluctantly he went. It's a dang good thing the Young Women in our ward like me and were willing to let me get down with them, Darnell was a barrel full of fun. Obviously the theme was "CandyLand" which I thought was such a fun idea. One of the women in the Stake YW Presidency made costumes for all the Stake Leaders (Plus their wives) She is a flippin genius with duct tape! Don't let the picture fool you, it in no way proves that Darnell is a fun person. He only wore the King Candy costume after every single of us us asked him to and Corena (who made the costumes) forced him to for picture purposes. Compare our costumes with the characters on the bottom of the picture., totally awesome!
