Kid-isms

A few days ago I made meatloaf and put it in the oven. I then had to make one quick visiting teaching trip. I told Darnell "Food's in the oven-keep an eye on it." I came home-meatloaf's a little burnt, but still edible.
At dinner, Quinn eats a piece, looks around the table and says, "Mmm, more jerky, Mom." Maybe it was more burnt than I thought!

This morning I was making Ky's lunch to take to school. She put in a boiled egg leftover from Easter. She takes it back out and hands it to me saying, "Mom, can you make this into a devil?"
(Haha-"Deviled" egg.)
