Yesterday for FHE Darnell gave a lesson about chores and the value of work. He instituted that once a week the kids have to help clean up after dinner, with parental supervision. Ky chose Wednesday, Bo-Thursday, and we gave Quinn Monday.
In review Darnell said, "Now let's not forget. What day does everyone have?"
Ky: (trying really hard to recall) Uhhh, Monnnnnn-sday?
Bo: Well, Dad-that one day I told you.
Quinn: JESUS! (I think he meant Sunday)
Darnell: "Hmm, well, we have Monsday, that one day, and Jesus Day."

That is funny!
Brilliant. If you can't remember what day you have, you don't have to do dishes.
I do all of my chores on Mondsday, which is why my house looks like this.
