So the other day I'm in D's clinic.
Nobody is there, he says, "Hey come here, see if you can do this."
He sits on an exercise ball, lifts his feet up, leans back, and balances for a good 2 minutes or so.
When I try it, I stay on for 1/2 a millimeter of a second the ball rolls forward, I roll backward, and proceed to smack my head on the door behind me, landing with my feet up on top of the ball.
"Hmm, you should really strengthen up those core muscles. "
Yeah, ya think!

That is awesome.
We used to have a yoga ball, for that express purpose. Dizzle was LOTS better at it than me.
