The Following Circumstances:- D's receptionist had to take her son to get surgery today.
- D having a FULL schedule because it was the last day we were offering free massages.
- A willing friend to watch my oldest two.
- Me not having worked outside the home for 5 1/2 years.
Results in:
- Me going into the clinic for half a day
- Scheduling appointments, collecting payments, answering the phone, manning the front desk...
- An incredibly deep feeling of validation and satisfaction
*sigh*

Just kidding, I know what you mean. Sometimes it's nice to have a change, and I'm sure it's nice to get out of the housework mode for once! Glad you had fun.

The Mom thing is the most important thing you'll ever do and the most satisfying, but MAN! sometimes going to 'real' work is pretty cool (and usually easier!) =)
Yeah I think working outside of the home is lots easier than working at home. Sometimes I miss working outside of the home. Butg if I did that, I'm sure I'd miss being at home all the time. Sounds like you had a great day!

Sounds like such a fulfilling day-ahhh I miss getting all businessed up in the morning and heading off to work-of course all I wanted to do when I was doing that-was stay in sweats all day and stay home-be careful what you wish for! I would miss my babies way too much to go back-but I know what you mean!
