Today I dropped off a salad at our church for an after funeral dinner. I cried a little at the mass amount of cars in the parking lot. Last weekend a 13 year old young man in our ward killed himself. Hung in his own backyard. Depressed and incredibly sad, he took his own life. When we heard the news, I was taken back. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Oh, I feel so much sorrow for this family. I feel as though I might cry this very moment. The reason I'm writing about it, is this:
DONT ever feel you have nothing left to live for.
NEVER feel so sad that you can't talk to anybody about it.
ALWAYS know you ARE loved even if only by your Heavenly Father.
Life is too short. Tell people you love them. It makes you feel good and it makes others feel good too.
I am in no way blaming his parents and/or family. Not at all. I just want you people who check our blog to know that we care about you. I'm so happy you care about us. I love my life and my family, and....well, that's all I guess. Be happy, we have so much to be thankful for.

How sad. I loved what you wrote! Brought tears to my eyes! What you said is all so true!!!
That young boy talked to my little sister on his last day of school. It is so sad. She had a very hard time with it. My mom said, I can't imagine being 13 years old and feeling like there was nothing worth living for. How sad. We are a very lucky people. And may God bless that poor family!
